Items Needed

2. iPodWizard 1.1 or older

Introduction

OK, Hopefully by this stage you have acquired the latest version of iPodWizard Program and the Apple Updater. Now you are ready to go!

Before You Start...

1. If you already have an iPod Updater installed ignore this step. Run the ipodsetup.exe if you just downloaded it.
2. Extract all files from the iPodWizard zip. Make sure all extracted files in the same folder.
3. Run iPodWizard.exe.
4. Follow the screen shots below to help you get started!

Loading The Updater

1. Start screen when you load iPodWizard, click on "Open Updater"
   
   
   
   
2. Now select the Apple Updater you wish to modify. It will likely be located in 'C:\Program Files\iPod\' (where 'C' is your root directory). Then choose the folder with the most recent updater you have (e.g. 'iPod Updater 2005-10-12').

3. Now load the according firmware for your iPod (if you are confused which to select, check which iPod firmware is yours)
   
   
   
   
4. Hit "Load" and you are ready to go!
