TUTORIAL: Connect Ipod Touch on Wifi Using Dial-Up

How to Connect Ipod Touch on Wifi Using Dial-Up Connection.

Ive been searching the net for 2 Days to find a way to Get some Apps on a Friend Ipod Touch 2g.
Ive tried Multiple programs but only deception over Deception.
Then i tought i could just try to share my internet connection over wifi. But there Again , Only deception.
I managed to find it by myself. I have a Laptop so i dont know if it would work with a Wifi dongle.
Made this in Vista Home Premium.

Im using Vista in french so translations are not perfect
Strangely this doesnt work with my Psp-3000

For Dial-Up

Go to Connection then Select Create a new connection.
Creade a Ad-Hoc connection.
Then Connect to your Dial-up.
Go to Manage internet connections and right click on the dial up
Selecs Proprieties.
Go to the Sharing tab and Check all the boxes and under the first box
(Wich give you multiple choices) choose Wireless or something like that.

Thats all i did and i went to the Touch and it Connected to WIFI !!!!


I was also able to send wifi With a Ethernet Connection.

Go to Manage connections
Press control and select Your Ethernet and Wireless Connections
Right click and select (Bridge connections?)
Go to Connection then Select Create a new connection.
Creade a Ad-Hoc connection.

Thats why i dont really like Vista. Things are so simple with a Mac.
In vista you think that because you have a admin account you have all the rights... FALSE Lol. I would have bought a mac instead of my Laptop but they are more expensive . Next time ill get one
