The crew over at Amphetameme have taken a look at Apples recent patents and registers of trademark and believe that there's a good chance that an iPhone may be on the way.
Is it possible that the long awaited true video iPod could in fact be an iPhone? Looking at all the patents Apple has made, it does make sense in a really vague way. I'm rather curious as to whether or not Apple would try this.

Could the patents that they say have anything to do with the moto SLVR? an iphone made by apple would probably look really nice

there are multiple. but an actual phone from apple would probly look very sleek

The way the article describes it, It appears as though apple might build a phone themself, not just add a few capabilities into a pre-existing one. In theory Apple could become an authorized cell phone seller, so it would make sense for them to construct their own phone.

I was wondering the same thing..... Well, a phone would be nice seeing as the SLVR and ROKR are less than impressive.
