[Photo/1.2.1] Menu Icons
Here is the final product of my attempt at menu icons for my Color iPod. Thanks go to Lubbi for making the icons and the great tutorial.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
A Version 1.2 may come out which will fix some minor spacing issues in the games menu, etc.
I may do a Version 2.0 which features inverted icons.
I will try and make a patch to make installation much easier.

FIXES:
Version 1.1
-Minor spacing issues
-Now Playing now displays properly
-Contacts in main menu settings now has icon

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING WITH PATCH:
1. Open patch.
2. Browse to target updater. MAKE SURE IT IS A CLEAN UPDATER. The patch will not work if the updater has been modified.
3. Plug in your iPod, and make sure it can be used as a hard drive.
4. Go to iPod>iPod_Control>Device>SysInfo (If you cannot see these folders, go to Tools>Folder Options>View>View hidden files and folders)
5. Open up SysInfo in Notepad.
6. Look for this: buildID: 0x04218000 (4.2.1) and edit it to this buildID: 0x04208000 (4.2.0)
7. Save file.
8. Now run the modded updater and enjoy!

Coming soon.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING WITH BINARY:
1. Unzip file.
2. Load iPodWizard 1.1e and load 2006-1-10 updater.
3. Go to Updater tab.
4. Select Load firmware binary and navigate to the unzipped file.
5. Now click write.
6. Plug in your iPod, and make sure it can be used as a hard drive.
7. Go to iPod>iPod_Control>Device>SysInfo (If you cannot see these folders, go to Tools>Folder Options>View>View hidden files and folders)
8. Open up SysInfo in Notepad.
9. Look for this: buildID: 0x04218000 (4.2.1) and edit it to this buildID: 0x04208000 (4.2.0)
10. Save file.
11. Now run the modded updater and enjoy!

Wonderful job.
I like how the icons don't show up on the top bar anymore.

Edit: Oh yes, I just realized there is a weird line in the "Now Playing" icon. It shows up like "> Now| Playing"

Nice work man. All these kids around my school are like. " Hey can you mod my ipod so It can look original." So annoying.
Keep up the good work man.

Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I followed the steps exactly, and it does not work...

I even went back to my backup (non modified) version of the updater and followed the steps, still didn't work.

Any help would be appreciated, I really want these icons.

Does this work on the 11.4.2 firmware? If so, I still have the problem of there not being a 11.4.2 firmware anymore on the new updater. Could someone please help me out!

No idea bro, it doesn't even work on the 5.4.2.1 firmware either. I've tried it several times now.

Or you could just hit the downgrade firmware button
