Is Apple planning a new range of iPod accessories?
Apple Insider reports that Apple may be planning several new companions (the Apple way of saying accessories) for the iPod which will be made by them.

The first of the new companions will be a boombox type device which will reportedly be “unlike anything seen in boombox world,” and that the device is like an oversized iPod, “ideal for use on a bookshelf or on the go."

What should we expect to see in terms of features? Wireless streaming of music? Docking capabilities? FM Radio? Satellite radio (you never know, something may have come out of the numerous talks with Sirius (No, not Harry Potter's uncle))? We will just have to wait and see... supposedly Apple is all prepped to announce the first of these consumer products at Macworld this January.

I suppose, and he is not really dead, heis just in another dimension type-idea.
A little pop-on FM tuner might be nice... Or maybe a tuner/transmitter to put Griffin out of business...

I don't think it will have it's own storage... It will most likely play the songs off the iPod or off a computer connected wirelessly.
