4Gb 1st Gen battery discharges overnight
Apologies if this has been raised elsewhere, I am new here.
After updating my nano to latest firmware it now refuses to shut off properly, the screen goes blank but when you switch back on the Apple logo does not appear, this makes me think it is just going into standby and thus discharges overnight. 1 - It is not the battery, I have replaced it. 2 - I am switching it off properly 3 - It is something to do with the native operating system because I have loaded RockBox and it behaves well. I want to give this to my daughter and she is setup for iTunes so leaving RockBox loaded is not an option. I would go back to previous version but don't know how. I know this is not an isolated case because I picked up the RockBox tip from threads on the internet. Any help to fix this will be gratefully received. |
