The Ultra Cheap iPod Stand/Speakers/Acessory Case!
(This idea was kinda taken kinda mine)
Parts: 1 pair of old headphones (best kind are the cheap wraparounds or these )1 Card or altoids tin Depending on ur headphone type you made or may not needa pen and/or knife Steps 1. Remove headphone pad. Pretty straightforward. 2. Pop off the back coverin on the headphones (on the oposite side of what was covered with foam) 3. Remove the plastic peice which extends from the central speker. To do this you must first break any securing clamps. (Use your teeth). Now is where you may need your pen and/or knife. Push down very hard on the center peice, trying to thrust it out of the larger plastic ring. Then slice any tape or glue away with ur pen or knif.e 4. The hard part is complete. 5. Put the headphones, place where the foam was side up on the tin. No tape needed. This is the main reason why they wrok so well. The sound is conducted from the magnet and makes the rest of the lid vibrate. 6. Put The Two foam pads you removed from the headphones into the tin. One on the bottom and one slopeing slightly up on the oposite side. Place the ipod in there. Perfect andgle for control and use, while the ipod remains protectected. (To make it also a docking port drill a hole the size of a dock conector near the botto, to line up with whatever angle you mount you ipod.) 7. dowlnload the goPod aplication here:http://gopod.free-go.net/index_en.htm#, and use it. 8. Set your ipods volume enhancer in itunes higher than usual for louder sound. 9. Sync your ipod 10. Put the ipod in the stand, plug the speakers in, set ur ipods eq to Bass booster or small spekers and rock out. (Pics will cum when i get my digicam working.)
