Horizontal iPod Split Screen Patch

Hey all, i've seen some complaints here and there about how on the ipod classic view of things the menu side of things are kind of cramed too close (vertically) so with that in mind i created a horizontal version of the ipod classic hack. It's also designed for those who want to have the now playing screen and want to see more of the song name, artist or album. It took me about 5 hours to create non stop i decided to start today and finish today. I hope you enjoy it.

Instructions for normal version:
1. Download and install the original iPod Classic Hack onto your ipod

2. Download the attachment and load the resources into ipodwizard
3. Switch over from Scheme Layout to font type and load the font type ( enables left align text at bottom)
4. From the same attachement load the images into ipodwizard
5. Write, and Reboot your ipod and enjoy your horizontal split screen.

Instructions for enhanced multi bg version:
1. Download and install the original iPod Classic Multi BG Hack onto your ipod
-> Download Here
2. Download the attachment labed multi bg hack ("iPod Video Horizontal Split Screen enhanced - Multi BG.zip ") and load the resources into ipodwizard.
3. Switch over from Scheme Layout to font type and load the font type ( enables left align text at bottom)
4. From the same attachement load the images into ipodwizard
5. Write, and Reboot your ipod and enjoy your horizontal split screen with multi bg.

Please note for the Multi BG Version of this hack any theme thats built for the multi bg hack would work all you have to do is change the background image if you want to have a little separate area for the now playing split screen.

For the multi BG Hack:
The bg image is 282 and the image size is originally 320 x 216 as i shrunk it so you'll be able to have the title bar with all it's goodies. How ever a 320x240 file can be loaded but will be shunk down to 320x216 note it won't be choped just shrinked.

! LOAD THE FONT RESOURCE TO FIX CONNECTION SCREEN !

Update:
- Version 1.01 released includes font type file for left aligned text. (Load it in and your aligned )
*- Version 1.02 released includes all from previous versions with some fixes. I fixed the lock icon so it now shows up next to the play icon. I fix the progress icon so its now located next to the lock icon. Also fixed is some of the menus that had lag in them also, i fixed up the lyrics area a bit i just need to find a way to re-
enable the paragraph and period filters. I'm lookin at the original resources for this. Also i've updated some of the images like the title bar in the nowplaying section is now smooth. Also included in the zip file is some backgrounds by me and ipw users. More to come.
*- Version 1.025 just a little add in i got chance to fix the title bar text when viewing playlists/albums/artists and so forth. Enjoy !
- Version 1 of the multi bg hack for the ipod horizontal split screen Read above for information on it, alot of bugs are needed to be solved which is about 2 major ones right now which is connection screen out aligned text and now playing screen album art shifted down. It needs to be shifted back up. Download the file attached named "iPod Video Horizontal Split Screen enhanced - Multi BG.zip "
- Version 1.01 of the multi background hack for the ipod horizontal split screen. Fixed the now playing screen album art and text over laping the icons on top.
- Version 1.02 of the multi bg hack fixes the two problems that i had so this should be good. Enjoy!

Thanks for the comment, if you want you can upload the background. I'll later on upload some addition backgrounds.

The only improvement I can see is to make the text not be centered, instead, align ti to the left, a few pixels from the artwork. anyway, really nice stuff, I might make a theme for it :p

Thanks alot, alright i'll take that into consideration just got to find out how to align the text :tongue: . Shouldn't be too dificult and i got to say great idea. Any help would be great.
