[5, 5.5 / C] Tutorial: The Classic Background Hack - Moving the split screen over.

For those people using the iPod Classic to Video Hack and want to edit how far the split screen is like from making it from a 60 40 split screen to a 50 50 or whatever you may please. I'll like to tell you which files to edit.

To move the album art over in the split screen over to the left:
1. In the layout tab do a find for 25599.
2. Locate ID -358 in the right pannel window and scroll to your right until you see left top right bottom.
3. Change the values of the left from 100 -> any value below 100 to move the album art over left.

To move the text over in the split screen over left.
1. In the layout tab do a find for 25599
2. Locate ID -287 in the right pannel window and scroll to your right until you see left top right bottom.
3. Change the values of the left from 185 -> any value below 185 to move the text over left.

Edit:
To move battery over right or left
1. In the layout tab do a find for 24506
2. Locate ID 25598 in the right pannel window and scroll to your right until you see left top right bottom.
3. Change the values of the right from -132 -> any value above -132 to move the battery image right change the value to any below -132 to move it left.

To move the lock icon over left or right
1. In the layout tab do a find for 24506
2. Locate ID 25550 in the right pannel window and scroll to your right until you see left top right bottom.
3. Change the values of the right from 20-> any value above 20 to move the lock image right change the value to any below 20 to move it left.

To move the text of the main menu over left or right
1. In the layout tab do a find for 24085
2. Locate ID 24430 in the right pannel window and scroll to your right until you see left top right bottom.
3. Change the values of the right from 0 -> any value below to move the text to your left. Change the right value from 0 -> any value above to move the text to your right.

To move the text of the music menu over left or right
1. In the layout tab do a find for 24085
2. Locate ID 24436 in the right pannel window and scroll to your right until you see left top right bottom.
3. Change the values of the right from -130 -> any value above -130 ( -129, -50, 0) to move the text to your right. Change the right value from -130 -> any value below -130 ( -131, -150) to move the text to your left.

To move the text of the settings menu over left or right
1. In the layout tab do a find for 24085
2. Locate ID 24599 in the right pannel window and scroll to your right until you see left top right bottom.
3. Change the values of the right from -130 -> any value above -130 ( -129, -50, 0) to move the text to your right. Change the right value from -130 -> any value below -130 ( -131, -150) to move the text to your left.

To move the text of the extras menu over left or right
1. In the layout tab do a find for 24085
2. Locate ID 24433 in the right pannel window and scroll to your right until you see left top right bottom.
3. Change the values of the right from -130 -> any value above -130 ( -129, -50, 0) to move the text to your right. Change the right value from -130 -> any value below -130 ( -131, -150) to move the text to your left.

To change the selector bar width over left or right - Thanks to RaiderX
1. In the layout tab do a find for 24085
The selector bar width. 24085, you should change the left/right appropriately

After doing this and trying your best to move the album art over and move the text over you will then need to locate the resource for the menus and change their right value from -130 -> less then -130 to move the menu side of things over right. When you have aligned everything all you got to do now is make a new background to match up the 50 / 50 or how ever you changed it screen view.

Sorry if this isn't the clearest however i just started to do resource hacking yesterday. And i learned by just editing random resources. I'm sorry i can't give you a list of resources for the different menu's as i'm not that advanced and havn't found all the menu resources yet. When i do i will post it here or if any of you guys know the different menu resources please post it here and i'll add it up here.

to move it over to a full screen just change the right value to 0 however another step would be in disabling the bg image and disable the album art and song info in the music menu.

can someone post the 50/50 screen as an attachment??? i dont want the picture i need someone who has already done this and got 50/50 screen and i need them to post the resources in a zip file. it would be soooo much easier!!!!
