iPod sad face: wont load...
sorry if this has been posted before, but I can't find it anywhere else

My iPod has the "sad face of death" whenever I boot it.

I've tried everything...even this

http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread...ace+hard+drive

which probably made it worse.

is there any other way of getting my ipod back without erasing any of the files?

thanks.

EDIT: I just found out that it WILL go into disk mode. but only for a short amount of time and it doesn't load in itunes... but my computer does recognize it while it is in disk mode
