WTF!!!! "This version of the iPod updater is no longer..."
Ok I am a newbie. I have a mediocre knowledge of hacking and what not. All I am trying to do is change the fonts and theme on my 5g ipod video. Everything is done and ready to load. But when I try to open the 2006-06-2 ipod updater i get a message saying i must now update my ipod with itunes 7.0 Whaaaa?Do I have to uninstall and install the 7.0? (currently running the most up to date itunes)

^^^ Double Post!
Anyway, how about using the direct iPod modding? Change the drop-down menu located at the top left of iPW from updater to iPod. Now click Write, and Voala! |

I had that same issue... I re-installed iTunes, then opened up my iPod in iTunes. After that, iTuenes told me I need to install new software onto my iPod and asked if I would like to do that now. I clicked yes. After that, I had to download a iPodWizard again from this url-- http://www.ipodwizard.net/attachment...4&d=1160592998 -- After you get that, everything should run fine!
