Not sure how many of you are familiar with the PS2 Independence day exploit, but if anyone is, have youo used an iPod as the USB_MASS? I use it constantly with my PS2 and after a few uses with it after recharging my iPod it won't work anymore

Fortunatley i have a deal with Best Buy where they'll fix it, but I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem while using LaunchELF or KeyLauncher or PS2OS etc. Well if i get it fixed and break it one more time i can trade in my 4g 40gig for a ipod photo ^^ Hm... Maybe its a possiblity that the iPod really is defective and its not something I did.... Not likely tough

so do you realy get a free psp ????? cause when i sighed up to get a free ipod that was cool but when i had to sigh up to another site with my credit card no way..

1st The PS2 Independenceday exploit is kind of like PS2Linux without the need to know the computer language. It basically lets you do anything with your PS2, from playing SNES games on it, to saving games on the HDD, to anything you can think of. I mostly use it for a program called HDLoader (which the retail copy went out of business soometime ago) which lets you save games to your PS2 hard drive so u dont need the cd anymore. The company went out of business because it was possible, and very easy to download games off of isohunt or irc and send it through ftp to the PS2, or just rent the game from blockbuster and save it on the hd. Fortunatly someone made an .elf file (PS2 executables are *.elf instead of *.exe) of HDLoader. I know it all sounds confusing but basically i used my ipod to transfer files between my PS2 and my PC. And this is the second time it broke after a few hrs of a iPod/PS2 session.

2nd About the freePSPs: some offers are free (like Ebay just bid $1 on something u know u wont win) and others have a free trial but need a cc. Just make sure to cancel your trial before its over and after you recieve your credit.

If I had a PSP (or an iPod for that matter, still not with me) I would have more interest in this, but unfortunately I don't.

Have you used any other browsers? I kinda switch between LaunchElf, KeyLauncher, and PS2OS
