Im not sure how or why this works, but it does. All you need is an iPod Touch (obv) and a prepaid Mastercard or Visa. The two types of credit cards I know work are 'Vanilla' mastercards and 'MyGift' visa cards. Not sure if this makes a difference. They are both 'electronic use only' cards and you can buy them at gas stations (in Canada anyway) or stores.

Simply buy one of these prepaid credit cards (they come in $25, $50, $100 and $250). I just bought a $50 card then bought some things online, and used the card until there was like $3 left on it. Visit the app store and make a new account (the email address you use doesnt even have to be real) and link the account with the prepaid credit card. If you get past the final step, you are good!

For some reason when you link these prepaid cards, it sometimes charges the card $1 which shows up as 'iTunes', and after that it simply just doesnt charge you for anything.
You are free to purchase as many games and apps as you like. The account usually lasts for about 2 days, then eventually you will go to download an app, and it will ask you to verify your payment info because there has been a problem. There doesnt seem to be a limit at all on how many you download or on the cost of apps, even if your card has $4 on it, you can still download apps that cost $20.

And when the account dies and it says there has been a problem, simply sign out and make another account with the same credit card. Then do it all over again.

So if you want free apps and games and the only reason you are jailbreaking your iTouch is for this reason, you might as well just do this.

Im not sure if this is known at all? I figured it out within a week of having my iPod, so Im not sure if everyone already knows this trick already.

This isn't bad doing this? Apple mustn't know you can do this so it must be illegal in some way. Just don't wanna get in trouble for like cc scams or something lol.

double confirmation!! i just bought 29 dollars worth of stuff on a 25 dollar gift card hahaha and online it says i only spent one dollar!!

ugh my card got rejected after three accounts, im gonna hafta go get a new one if im gonna do this again. but wow i must have got like almost a hundred dollars worth of stuff
