What do you think about the new iPod Shuffle?
Now that the new iPod Shuffle is released which you can't use unless you own a pair of Apple Headphones, what do you think:

Do you think it's a rip-off that you can only use the Shuffle with Apple Headphones?
Or do you think that being able to choose your own Headphones is not important anymore?

Let's see how many of us don't like the new way of Apple to get their products sold.
And let's hope they don't copy that way onto other products...

Happy Voting!

If i where allowed to pick two options they would be:
-Rip-off! I want to be able to choose my own Headphones!
-I never thought about buying a Shuffle anyway.
Apple is kinda stupid for even thinking of making this iPod and the idea of putting the controls on the headphones, i mean, Apple's headphones get f*ucked up quite easy and fast, if i want to use my own headphones i can't because of the stupid controls... BAD IDEA APPLE.

I would really like to see more discussion in here.

People, what do you think about this kind of way to make money?
It's like "Buy X and then buy this so you can use X" ???
What do you think about it?

I think that it would be better if they at least put a small screen on it. than it would sell more and wouldnt be as big of a rip off

I don't like the screen idea on the Shuffle yet.
But at least make a small play button!

They should have put a set of buttons on the shuffle or the headphones should have been in 2 parts and the part that goes up to the head phones plug into the lower controller. It would have made it possible to use 3rd party headphones.

I think volume controls on the headphones are good. My skullcandy earphones have that. Its really useful, especially when a really loud song comes on, then you can just slide the volume down on the headphone wire instead of reaching in your pocket and lowering the volume on the ipod itself.

I think they should have an adapter that you can plug your own headphones into but still use the controls on the Apple headphones.

For the size the setup makes sense... I don't hate it...
