Hello Fellow Forum Members

I am new as you can tell and I have some issues with my ipod Classic--120GB. It ticks me off that I spent the money and I do not have access to the entire drive space I paid for because they need the space for proprietary updates.
I do not know about you, but I hava a lot of CDs and I copied them with the expectation that I would be able to carry my music everywhere and I could charge the ipod from my vehicle with minimal invasion from Apple.

How do I remove the firmware a further personalize my "everything" box ? I will search to find, the answers and if I have problems I look forward to your input!
