I need f***ing help

I'm about to throw my ipod through the wall. I have a 30gb classic I tried changing the theme or firmware or whatever with iPW and Continuum 2.0 and it's just going into the restore loop. I transferred all the songs off manually and I tried restoring it but when i tried, it was restoring for 2 and a half hours, so i said "**** it" and safely removed it.

When i go to my computer, and right click my ipod, there's a format button. Would that work? It says it would delete everything. Would my ipod be completely ****ed or would that work?

I'm sorry that this might be in the wrong section. I'm just really frustrated with this. I value my music collection more than my life.

i have all my music on an external hard drive and have had no problem syncing my ipod and running my music through my laptop speakers from it.

I have moved my music to a new bigger and better external hard drive but I dont know how to match up my itunes without removing all 72gig and re-adding the music again. any help would be great! :)

Refreshed my iPod's

Just thought I'd share what I did to my iPod's over the weekend. I had nothing else to do lol.

Anyways, I replaced my iPod Nano 1st Gen's battery, screen, and click wheel. And I also polished the aluminum back plates. Battery lasts for 40 hours, screen is much brighter, the click wheel responds much better, and the back is shiny. But the front looks like crap, haha. I'll try Novus 10 for that. I have had this iPod ever since it came out. I love it!

I also replaced my iPod Classic's battery and polished the back plate.

In order to polish the back plates, I:
1. Removed the back plate from the iPod.
2. Applied Mother's magnesium and aluminum polish with a clean terry cloth.
3. Rub polish on the back plate.
4. Buff it off with clean terry cloth.
5. Rubbed extra fine (#0000) steel wool.
6. Repeat steps #2-5 until desired results have been achieved.
7. Apply Turtle Wax for even more shine.

I only did it two times so there are still small scratches. Good enough for me though.

You can kind of tell that I am using the Black Apple Remastered theme. And as you can see, brand new click wheel but crappy, scratched up faceplate.

Have a scratched up ipod? Why not give this a try? Total price is about $10 but I already had this stuff laying around. I detail cars for a living!

I have a GEN 5 IPOD V9K 30 GB Video, New to the forum and new to breaking into these things I have had mine for 3-4 years and I just got out here to pakistan and now my ipod went nuts! It is stuck on "Please Wait Very Low Battery" So then I took it to the plug and chugged it in and makes a clicking noise like it wants to start up but stays on the apple screen. Tried to reset it in disk mode but since I can not get a descent charge it does not respond. I am at a loss here I can rebuild a Harley but I can not dive into these damn computers....HELP!:wizard:

Hello all,

I have buy today a iPhone 3Gs ( Canada ) and i take a contract with Rogers but my phone don't take the rogers sim card, i have already a iPhone (1g) and don't have eny problem with but my 3Gs wont jailbreak with Redsnow, Jailbreakme.com LimeRa1n and all these thing, i have read about downgrading on 3.1.3 but i want to be on the 4.0.2 & unlocked, nevermind about jailbreak just unlocked.

can enybody help me? :O

Ipod shows no music

My iPod shows no music yet the file size and settings show I have used memory only it now shows this as 'other' as opposed to 'music' on iPod. Have I lost all my music and movies? Is there a way to clear it altogether and restart from a new iTunes?
